Zblewski
Over the course of about six and a half years, I designed and built this guitar with a friend. It comprises a one-piece alder body with maple cap, maple neck and rosewood fretboard. Fralin Vintage Hot pickups in the neck and middle positions, and a Fralin Unbucker in the bridge; all direct mounted.
Mr Green
Originally a Stagg Strat in sunburst, I stripped this down and refinished it in green, but not before routing the body for a pair of Monty’s ’54 P90s. It had a re-fret and full hardware replacement, and an interesting electronics system installed. A five-way rotary selector covers the three standard pickup modes, with the addition of two series-wired options – one in-phase, one out-of-phase.
Ted
My first build with my Dad, made from a piece of chestnut found in my late Grandfather’s workshop. A fairly simple block, this guitar uses three Burns Trisonic pickups, wired up in the same way as Brian May’s Red Special.
